![]() It took years for my mother to admit she had a a drug habit. Her addiction caused much pain and sorrow in our family and childhood was not very pleasant for me. As I got older and figured out that my mother was actually suffering from a a drug habit I decided to find help for her. After doing some research on alcohol rehab centers I decided to have an intervention done on my mother. My mother went into alcohol rehab centers two years ago and today she is the mother I always wanted her to be.

The doctor told me if I used again I would probably die because my heart couldn't take it any more. I was scared at that point that I might die because I knew I couldn't stop on my own so I told my parents that I had a drug and alcohol problems and that I needed help to go into prescription drug treatment. They were surprised that their little girl could even have done such a thing but, they helped me and paid for treatment. It's been 3 years since I went through treatment and I'm happier than ever!
